From Gresse-en-Vercors towards Mont Aiguille. Or descending from Grand Veymont via Pas de la Ville, along the balcony trail to the south. A hiking path and a small forest road leading up from the hamlet of La Ville (Gresse-en-Vercors) also reach it. Access by public transport: SNCF line from Grenoble to Gap. Stop at Monestier de Clermont Half-day walk along pleasant paths: Ponsaunnanche, Grisail, Scierie de la Baumette. No mattresses, 1 floor. Chairs and tables inside and outside. No stove. A small river flows on the path to Gresse-en-Vercors; it is not disgusting, at least no one has died from it, otherwise no fountain! A broom was returned (since August 2005). There is space in the loft, but no dedicated sleeping arrangements! Besides the lack of heating, it is a shelter, nothing more...
