From the hamlet of Les Faures, take the direction "Vallon de Malentraz". The cabin is visible from the small plateau 100 metres below in elevation.
Magnificent valley, facing north. In October, there is sunshine from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Renovated in 1986 by Patrick Chaize. A stove, an outdoor barbecue, plenty of firewood. A saw is available. A 760 mm saw blade should be shown. Some mismatched crockery. No mattresses (but 2 ground mats) upstairs. The stream is a few hundred metres away (Note: if there is no water near the hut, it can be found further up before the rise leading to the lake, about 30 minutes' walk).
