By car, from Nantes-en-Ratier, go to the Col de Malissol. Then follow a forest road towards the hamlet of Poyet. Park shortly after the Grande Combe. On foot, follow a trail that climbs towards the Fontaine de Bigasset and the Piquet de Nantes (yellow markings). The hut is found shortly after an intersection with a marked path coming from Poyet.
Water source nearby. The interior is very clean and welcoming: sleeping platforms with mattresses, table, benches and chairs, shelves with kitchen utensils, stove, gas cooker. Regularly used by ONF agents. The stove has a slight defect: the weld sealing the glass inside on all four sides is missing. As a result, the stove's draft is very strong, and the wood burns quickly at night. Do not light fires outside (fire risk). For firewood, supplies are replenished each year in the shed on the side. If it runs out, only collect dead wood around the hut. Available equipment: axe and broom.
