The most classic access is from the hamlet of Le Mollard in the valley between La Morte and Oris-en-Ratier via the GR du pays du Valbonnais, along a very pretty path. A sign just after Le Mollard indicates whether the cabin is occupied by ONF staff.
Sleeping area upstairs on good condition mattresses (5 or 6). A stove, a table, benches and furniture. The insulation is good. A table and benches in front of the cabin, as well as a small stone barbecue area. A fountain in front of the cabin that flows well.
