From Oris-en-Rattier, via the GR50 to the Col du Plan Collet, then along the Côte-Belle ridge. Alternatively, from Valbonnais, via the GR50 northwest to the 1064 m point.
Small stone hut, restored roof, relocated and new chimney. Basic shelter with a bench. Dark, no windows, only a skylight on the door which has been renovated and fitted with an external lock, but it lets in draughts (and snow?) as it is not flush: no door frame. Inside: no trace of sleeping facilities, just the bare concrete floor. 1 small wall cupboard, a small table, a small bench. Early 2022 the stove was connected to the flue. No nearby water source, but below is the Frêne spring, unvisited. 3 minutes east, the path crosses a talweg where water flows abundantly and wood is plentiful. (avalanche cone). However, this small hut has an exceptional full south-facing orientation, with views to the east of the Arcanier, to the south of the Obiou, to the west of the Veymont and Mont-Aiguille, among others. From this hut you can reach the Dreyre hut. Mobile network: good (Orange, 4/5).
