Good to know

Cabin rebuilt in wood frame by the commune of La Ferrière in 2003-2004. Very comfortable and very frequented. Sleeping upstairs possible for 15 people tightly packed (10 mattresses). Maintained by the association Tous à Poêle since 2016. Very well equipped: table, benches, pantry, pots, pans, dishes... New stove (installed in 2016) repaired in March 2022, February 2024 the pipe was replaced, then was stolen/removed again in May 2024. There is no dead wood nearby, so bring well-dried logs. There is no longer any (gone). Dry toilets at the back of the cabin (bring sawdust). Mobile network: almost none, unless you go to the edge of the western cliffs, where an occasional and unstable signal may be received. This cabin is unfortunately regularly subject to acts of vandalism (damage, sabotage) with no apparent motive, for several years now.
