From the Posterle, via the forest road of Sappey, to the point (1166 m) parking.
Wooden cabin measuring 4 m by 3 m, with a tin roof on planks, moderately insulated (drafts). A stove exists (untested) and appears to be in working order. A gas cooker exists (also untested) and appears to be in working order. Two tables (total for 8 people), two benches, six chairs. Small supply of firewood (logs) in the surrounding forest (conifers). One axe in working order is the only tool present, a broom (handle broken in two). Several grills for barbecues. Two pots, a few candles. Battery-powered lighting (untested). There is no sleeping accommodation on the first level. Outside, a small shutter visible in the photo provides access under the roof, but the ladder is not visible. No visible source or stream. At the cabin entrance, a small sign reads 'Maison forestière de Peisseiriou, que faire...!'.
