The hut is open to all, all year round. There is probably 1 stove, 1 table, 2 benches and a sleeping area on an elevated platform. It is an old shepherd's hut restored in 2014 and 2015 by young people from Pau during integration projects organized by the Maison de la Montagne, APSAP and Gadgé voyageurs 64. For water, the IGN map indicates a fountain at the start of the path to the Pacheu hut.
