By car: from the Somport pass, drive down the national road on the Spanish side and take a left turn directly towards the Astún ski resort. 500 m after the intersection, the cabin is located below (20 m below the road) on the right. By public transport: take a train to Oloron-Sainte-Marie station. Take the Oloron → Canfranc bus (Car Aquitaine, +33 0 800 64 40 47). Get off at the "Col du Somport - Douane" stop. Follow the route indicated above on foot.
Cabin destroyed, only a piece of roofing (concrete slab) remains. The ground inside the cabin is very marshy.
