Accessible from Amélie-les-Bains, Arles-sur-Tech, Montalba. Close to the GR10 and HRP, it is worth the detour.
This is not a cabin/shelter/refuge, but a very well restored and maintained chapel by an association, which remains always open. There is no sign indicating whether bivouacking or sleeping inside is prohibited or allowed, but I believe you can sleep inside as long as you leave no trace, other than a word of thanks or a donation to the association. The site is very pretty, with a beautiful view, picnic tables, and the chapel offers a nice shelter from the sun or bad weather. If you are crossing the Pyrenees, passing by here as well as by the gorges of the Mondony river is a nice alternative to the GR10 or HRP. There is a spring nearby.
