Access

From Vernet les Bains, go up to Casteil then to the col de Jou (parking). Follow the marked trail passing by the col de Creu and the col du Cheval Mort. Hut slightly below the path.

Good to know

During a visit at All Saints' Day 2016, the hut was fully renovated (roof redone). However, the interior is extremely spartan although clean: no furniture, no heating, stone floor.
