The Abri du col de Montjoie is a concrete stone shelter with a tin roof, a concrete slab, a door and an unblocked window. The equipment is basic: a wooden bench available as well as concrete edges to sit on inside and a space provided for a barbecue outside (but bring your own wood!). Water is located quite far away, so you need to plan ahead for supplies. It is possible to sleep on the ground for 5 people (a bit cramped).
