The most direct/common access: from Naves, drive up the track to Grands Darbeleys. From there, several forest trails (marked or not) lead to this cabin, which is located on the edge of a logging road that then becomes a ridge trail leading to Roc Marchand. The entire route is clearly indicated on the map.
- No water source nearby. - No toilet cabin or equivalent. - A stove. - A few mattresses upstairs (small mezzanine). - Basic equipment, seemingly fairly recent and/or well-maintained: table and chairs, logbook, some crockery and utensils for cooking. - Cabin located deep in the forest, so firewood should be available in theory (visited about two years ago at the end of summer). - Heavy axe with an iron head and large handle hole, and a saw (March 2014).
