From the Champeney shelter, simply follow the forest track towards Baché (east) and take the first path descending to the left once the Nant de la Tuile has been crossed.
Located deep in the woods and quite low, this chalet can at best serve as a drop-off point or a fallback in case of late departure or return, getting lost, fatigue, etc... - correct insulation - 2 tables, 4 benches - in 2009, a shovel, a broom, no cutting tools - stove untested - a loft with a skylight, floor sleeping except for the two mattresses - limited view of the valley floor - no water available, except to draw from the Nant de la Tuile (caution: herds upstream: to be treated!), or melt snow.
