From Ébaudiaz, take the path leading to the Col de la Grande Lanche, descend to Lac de la Lanche, continue down following the stream (path not very visible), then head due South just before reaching the forest. The path becomes clearer at this point and the refuge is reached ~500m after crossing the stream.
A nice small refuge that is not necessarily easy to access (lack of paths in the area!). Insulation is average and it is unclear how it will perform in winter. Equipment: table, benches, very few utensils, one saw. The forest is downhill, expect ~50m of elevation loss before reaching the first trees. A stream flows about a hundred meters away.
