Access

You can reach it via the Chalet du Venitier from above (1 hour) or from the parking lot at the valley bottom (1 hour). Note that the barely marked trail, indicated by IGN between point 1430 (path to La Perrière) and the Chalet du Tour, goes up and down, crosses valleys, fallen trees, sections of wet rocks, etc. This is not a good plan, especially if you are carrying a heavy bag. The ascent from the parking lot at the valley bottom (elevation 1010 m) along a convenient forest track is preferable, especially in winter.
