By road. From Entremont-le-Vieux: take the direction of Le Désert and Corbel (4.5 km). From Les Échelles: national road towards Chambéry, turn right at Saint-Jean-de-Couz. Pass Corbel and continue on the departmental road to the Nordic site of the Désert d'Entremont.

Possibility of self-management (12 euros/person) or half-board: 41 euros/person. Booking required (04 79 65 84 72 or info@gite-chartreuse.fr). Stage of the Tour de Chartreuse, several hikes starting from the lodge. In winter: cross-country ski trails and snowshoe routes starting from the lodge. Languages spoken: French, English, German, Italian, Spanish.
