Via the GR5: coming from the refuge de l'Orgère, the refuge de l'Arpont or from Pralognan la Vanoise via the col d'Aussois. By road: from Aussois, take the direction towards the dams, then 1 hour's walk from Plan d'Amont.
Open from mid-June to mid-September. Full board, half board, self-catering area. Characterful, recent, clean, comfortable and cosy mountain hut (built between 1989 and 1995). Quality meals. Very warm welcome from the wardens. Stunning view over the dams. Numerous walks of all levels from the hut. Showers available. No winter room. Languages spoken: French, English, German, Italian, Spanish.
