- Recent hut with 42 beds and free showers. - Open all year round and staffed from mid-March to mid-May and from early June to late September. - Outside staffing periods: 20 beds available. - Local specialities: fricassé de caïon, diots à la mondeuse, rhubarb or bilberry tarts. Most ingredients are organic, fair trade or locally sourced. 40.50 € for half board, 19 € per night in high season (for more details, see the hut's website). In winter, two out of four dormitories are open, providing 10 comfortable beds. There is a stove, firewood (bring a small hand saw or equivalent) and even winter toilets accessible without having to put skis back on.
