In 2025, the refuge will be open and guarded from 13 June to 14 September for the summer period. In recent years, the refuge has faced water supply problems in the heart of summer, sometimes early in the summer season, to the point that it has had to close early. Check its opening in advance before going there. Similarly, while it can provide a supply of drinking water, this is not guaranteed. During the guarded period: 47 beds, pillows and duvets provided (sleeping bag liner mandatory). 10 bivouac spots. Evening and breakfast meals, lunch meals on reservation, drinks during the day, high chair for babies. Heating by wood stove, reading area and board games, defibrillator, emergency beacon, toilets and showers. In winter, no running water, therefore no shower. During the unguarded period: 15 beds, blankets provided (sleeping bag liner mandatory). No meals but bar service, shared kitchen area, drying room. Wood heating, emergency beacon, dry toilets. In winter, no running water, therefore no shower.
