Exit 26 from the Maurienne motorway or RD 1006 exit La Chambre. Roundabout at La Chambre direction Montgellafrey. After the main village, take the D76a towards Saint-François. Second left towards lac de la Grande Léchère. Park at the end of the road (barrier). The hut is a 10-minute walk along a pleasant, almost flat trail. In winter, stop at Mollaret: 1 hour 30 minutes by snowshoes.
The hut is open during the following periods (by reservation only): from 1 June to 30 September, weekends in October and All Saints' Day holidays, Christmas holidays (possibly longer depending on reservations/conditions), February holidays (all areas), Easter holidays (all areas), May weekends. Full amenities (hot water, heating, electricity). Half board at €50, full board at €62. Winter hut: 8 places. Languages spoken: French, English, German, Italian, Spanish.
