From Bussang, go to the Plain de la Bouloie ski area. There is a parking lot at the level of the first aid post. On foot, take the chemin des Ormes which passes in front of the chalet des Evaux (blue and white rectangle). About 2 km after the chalet des Evaux, take a trail to the right (red and white rectangle), it leads to the intersection called "gros sapin" then climbs directly to the kiosque du Sotré. Another possible route, about 200 meters after the chalet des Evaux, turn right onto a green round trail (about 1.5 km). It leads to a yellow round path. At the intersection, to the right is the direction of the chalet des crêtes, to the left it leads to an intersection between the yellow round path, a red triangle trail (descending south) and the red and white rectangle trail (north) which leads to the kiosque du Sotré.
As its name suggests, it is a kiosk. It is small in size and therefore offers few places (4 hikers) around a table. Completely closed but unlocked, it provides shelter from wind and rain for a break. It offers a magnificent view above Bussang. In very good condition, when I passed by, it seemed recent. The nearest water point is a spring crossing the path at the level of Gros Sapin, so not quite 10 minutes further down.
