Loading the forecast…
At the foot of the Zugspitze, on its southern flank, a few dozen meters from the arrival station of the rack railway departing from Garmisch-Partenkirchen. The European long-distance hiking trail E4, the Nordalpenweg 01 and the AV Weg 801 pass just to the north.
Dedicated chapel, so it contains all the classic furnishings of a Christian place of worship: pews, altar, etc. It can be used to shelter from bad weather, but respect for the place would suggest not planning to spend the night there intentionally. Unless the weather is bad, a service is held there every Sunday at noon.
