The Münchner Haus is a staffed mountain hut located at the summit of the Zugspitze in the Bayern region. It is managed by Barth Hansjörg and owned by the public sector.

At the summit of the Zugspitze, right in the middle of observation platforms and cable car arrivals. Unmistakable: it is the old wooden building in the midst of modern metal and glass facilities. Several options via the various cable cars and the rack railway from Germany (Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Grainau) or Austria (Ehrwald). On foot, several routes via the south, east and west faces. The European long-distance trail E4, the Nordalpenweg 01 and the AV Weg 801 pass just below the hut.
