From Larche, climb to the Col des Moines then reach Lago Aspoï. Climb up the impressive but easy Enchiausa valley to the Col of the same name. Descend on the other side to the bivouac, which is reached in 30 minutes from the col. Alternatively: reach the Oronaye valley. Follow the trail to Lago di Oronaye, then cross the Col de Feuillas east of Tête de Moïse. Descend towards the casemate (old bivouac in poor condition). Caution: the trail is somewhat exposed. The start of the descent can be tricky in case of rain/snow and for people sensitive to heights. Continue descending to the bivouac. From Campo Base / Chiaperra, follow the GTA trail southwards, passing above Lago di Saretto then below the source of the Maira before reaching Lago Visaisa. Then join Lago Apsoï (GTA) and climb up the Enchiausa valley to the col. Descend on the other side to the bivouac, which is reached in 30 minutes from the col.
Water source a few metres to the north-west, marked by a red flag. Even after the drought of late August 2019, the source was still flowing well. 2 x 6 mattresses (on 2 levels).
