From the village of Castello, head towards the Vallante refuge, then turn right towards 2100 via the "sentier Chiavazza e Girone" trail (in the couloir, there is a rock with the trail name painted in yellow).
Italian-style bivouac, like a "tin can". It is not very warm inside, but the bivouac is in full sun all day. It can serve as a stopover before reaching the Forciolline refuge (about 1 hour away) or the Viso.
