Good to know

The current structure dates from 1993, replacing the former Mar Val camp, which had been active since 1957. The bivouac is dedicated to the memory of Nino Soardi, president of the CAI Uget Torino, and Marco Fassero, a young climber from Cirié, who died during the summer of 1989 at the age of just 28. Wooden structure covered with sheet metal. Always open, 14 places. 2 picnic tables with benches. Mattresses, blankets, pillowcases. No crockery. Stream 5 minutes east below the bivouac or 70m west via a level path. Lighting (photovoltaic).
