From the Valle d'Avérole: From the [->568], head towards the Colerin Pass 3207m, descend into Italy via this pass equipped with a handrail (rope on the left bank). In case of persistent snow in the couloir or early in the season, crampons are necessary. Upon reaching the end of the glacier, stay on the right bank of the stream to reach the hut via a path that continues and climbs south to the flat area at the foot of the Bessanese 3604m where the hut stands. The path is marked all the way from the Avérole hut. From the Val di Ala: Park at Terminus in Pian della Mussa 1787m, near the [->5375], the path leading up to the hut is signposted (count 2H/2H30). From the [->5384] 2616m: Marked and waymarked path, north via the Col Altare 2901m, then descend to Lago Rossa 2718m, continue to the Collarin d'Arnas 2851m, then continue descending north to the hut.
