The hut is located in the Val Venosta (South Tyrol) - Autonomous Province of Bolzano, and German-speaking province of Italy! From the [->5386]: By taking the ascent path of the [->5415], but after having climbed it, you will go back and then head north to cross the Weisskugeljoch and descend on the right bank of the Langtauferer Ferner. Once at the bottom of the glacier, follow a moraine westwards which leads to the hut. --> Caution: glacier crossing involved. From the [->5414]: Cross the Gepatschferner heading southwest to the glacier tongue that falls in seracs onto the lower Langtauferer Ferner, then turn northwest to take a cable-equipped ledge leading to the moraine at the bottom of the Langtauferer Ferner. --> Caution: glacier crossing involved. Bolzano, Lago di Resia, Melag 1980m: From the valley floor, a path heading east leads easily and quickly to the hut.
