Access

From Epinel: Parking at the western entrance of the village, or down towards a small stadium near the stream. Numerous fresh water fountains in the village alleys. Take path No. 1 towards Colle Drinc 2560m, which, via a long uninterrupted ascending traverse (following the high-voltage line), climbs to the pass reached by a final slightly steep grassy slope. The path is well marked. Then turn full east along the ridge leading to the bivouac in about ten minutes. From Pila: From the ski resort overlooking Aosta, take path No. 23 to reach Col Drinc, then the bivouac via the ridge.
