2h from the [->384] (difficulty EE). 3h15 from La Visaille (parking at the end of the Val Vény road). From the [->384], follow the trail on the moraine towards the Pyramides Calcaires. After several switchbacks, take a trail to the right to cross the stream descending from the Estellette glacier. Climb the grassy slope until you reach a hollow filled with rocks on the right. Ascend the switchbacks among the stones, enter a chimney until reaching the Estellette pass. After passing the last rocks, turn left to reach the bivouac nearby.
Small bivouac built in 1925 located north of the Pyramides Calcaires, between the aiguille des Glaciers and the aiguille d'Estelette. Always open, unguarded. Bivouac in good condition. 4 thin mattresses (1cm, cold on the back guaranteed) 7 or 8 blankets, some well worn 1 pot 1 bowl and some spoons / knives 2 gas cartridges 1 plastic water bottle Some trail food Water available depending on the state of the névé 50m above the bivouac. Good quality bivouac spots for 2 or 3 people 50 meters higher on the old ruined bivouac, above the brèche versant Estelette. It may be too snowed in early season.
