The cabin is located next to the Pollineres picnic and relaxation area, above the Cap de Rec and Aransa cross-country ski stations. From the Cap del Rec cross-country ski station: Large parking area near [->5523]. A track open to vehicles from May to November leads up to the Pollineres parking area where the cabin stands. You can also walk up from Cap del Rec via a trail that cuts through the woods to join the track to the Pradell Refuge (especially when the track is closed to traffic). Cabin access: The door is locked, but a hole next to the lock allows you to open it by reaching inside, a common practice. Close the door when leaving to prevent any passing animals from entering.
