From the parking lot of the Barrosa Mines (located on the A138, 300 m south of the Hospital de Parzan), go up the Rio Barrosa. First on a track, which quickly becomes a trail. Allow 1h30 of walking from the parking lot to the hut.
Hut renovated by the municipality of Bielsa in 2004 (metal door, window, chimney...). Since 2009, members of the mountaineering club 'Les Cadets de Toulouse' have continued the work with its approval (stove, table, chairs). Waterproofing, interior layout, ceiling painting, wall coatings and the renovation of the sleeping platforms were carried out in 2014 and 2015. Two large sleeping platforms. A stream is nearby (to be treated). A wood stove is available (do not use the chimney as indicated). Wood is available nearby. A table and benches are present.
