Refuge Vallferrera

The Vallferrera refuge is a staffed mountain hut located in the Pallars Sobirà region of Catalonia. It is managed by Juanma Arroyo and is publicly owned.

Access

Catalonia, Val Ferrera: Alins, Areu, then a long, stony track, more or less passable, leads to the Terminus de la Molinassa car park at 1800 m, 15 minutes from the Vallferrera refuge. Follow the track, then turn left, cross the stream via a footbridge and arrive at the refuge hidden in the vegetation.
