Access

Located on the road from Champéry to Planachaux, it is a 15-minute drive from the village. It can be reached on foot in 1 hour of hiking or mountain biking. Alternatively, you can take the Champéry – Planachaux cable car and then walk to the hut in 20 minutes. In winter, access is either via the Champéry – Planachaux cable car or the Grand-Paradis – Planachaux chairlift, followed by skiing. Guests of the hut can have their luggage transported by snowcat from the cable car upon prior reservation with the Champéry – Les Crosets ski lifts.

Good to know

The hut is normally closed. You must collect the keys from the caretakers. As a mountain hut, its facilities offer very pleasant comfort: a kitchen that can be used with wood or gas, with hot and cold running water at the sink. Heating is provided by wood, gas, or electricity. The sanitary facilities include washbasins, showers, and toilets, all located inside the building. There is a telephone.
