Val d'Entremont: Grand St-Bernard road, at the height of Liddes turn right towards Vichères-Bavon. After crossing the Dranse d'Entremont, drive up and park 2 km after Vichères at the foot of a chairlift departure. From there, head a little higher to the west to the chalets of Chapelet where you join the bisse de la Tour (restored in 2006, 3.5 km long connecting the Torrent de l'A to Chapelet) which allows you to enter the immense Combe de l'A. This path will first lead to [->3684], then continue in this vast combe towards Plan de Vouasse 2393 m where the hut stands. The path then splits in two and allows you to reach Val Ferret either via Col du Basset (North) or via Col du Névé de la Rousse (further South) which then leads towards Col du Grand St-Bernard.
Former shepherds' refuge restored in 2004. This restored hut, with no indoor equipment and a beaten earth floor, will welcome you for a stop where you will feel a bit like a shepherd. However, due to the poor condition left by visitors, this hut will be closed in summer and reopened in winter. Equipment: 1 table.
