From Ferret (1700 m), an alpine road climbs on the right bank of the Dranse de Ferret for 1 km, where it is left below the Ars Dessous summer pasture to cross the stream on a footbridge and take a mule track. Allow 1h30. The Tour du Mont-Blanc passes in front of the hut.
Active alpine pasture, surrounded by cows (for those who might confuse "alpine pasture" with "leisure park"), near which this hut has been set up. Open from mid-June to mid-September. 33 bunk beds. Hot showers included (until 10 pm). Electricity, no Wi-Fi. Terrace. Free drinking water, hot water for thermoses, bread for sale. Kitchen serving Swiss specialties, including dishes made with local cheese. Picnic possible (reserve in advance). 2025 rates: Half-board dormitory: CHF 85.-/person (child: CHF 65.-) + CHF 2.40 per person per night tourist tax. Picnic: CHF 15.-. Payment in cash and by bank card. Languages spoken: French, English, German.
