The "panorama weg" is the shortest route, established in 2005 after major works that minimize the glacier section and significantly shorten the journey, as well as the one with fewer ascents and descents; it starts from Belalp. Allow about 4 hours to reach the hut. The access from Riederalp, on the other side of the Aletsch glacier, is rather discouraged: strenuous, long (7 h), with 1200 m of elevation gain.
