Coordinates: 566893.94 / 96590.04 Access via the bisse du Trient starting from the Col de la Forclaz (approx. 3h, difficulty T3) or from the village of Trient (approx. 3h, difficulty T3). The footbridge over the torrent des Grands, which had disappeared in 2024, was replaced in June 2025. After crossing the torrent des Grands, the trail becomes much more technical with rope handrails.
Building dating from 1797 and converted into a mountain hut in 1990. Open from mid-June to mid-October 9 bunk beds + 2 emergency mattresses. Blankets provided. Sleeping bag liner mandatory. Water from the fountain, firewood for the stove, solar lighting, crockery, fondue stoves with gel, stock of sugar, salt, pepper, coffee, tea.
