From Loutze (above Ovronnaz): Take the path to Chamosentze (you can drive up to here in summer, on a drivable track), then follow the path to [->2885], after the flat section of Chanrion, at the point marked 2042, turn northeast towards the col east of the Dent de Chamosentze (Pas de Chamosentze) where the hut is located a few meters from the spillway of the Lac de la Forclaz. From [->2885]: Head towards Col de la Forcla, then descend to the lake at the eastern end of the large lake, continue south towards the col at the foot east of the Dent de Chamosentze where the hut is located a few meters from the spillway of the lake. Alternatively, from [->2885], you can descend to the point marked 2042 m mentioned for the access from Loutze, but this involves much more ascent and is very steep.
There is a stream to cross which can be problematic during high water periods. Interior equipment: Absolutely nothing, completely empty, very clean tiled floor. Note: The door does not lock.
