The gîte de l’Alpage de Dorbon can only be reached on foot, about 1h30 of walking from Lac de Derborence, and is located on the Tour des Muverans route or on the Ovronnaz - Derborence crossing. Derborence can be reached by public transport: train to Sion then post bus www.cff.ch. By car, exit the A9 motorway at Sion or Conthey, then follow > Conthey > Derborence. Free parking near the lake.

It is open from June to September, May and October by reservation only. À la carte meals at midday, otherwise half-board in common (dinner + breakfast). Reservation recommended (by email more than one week in advance, otherwise by SMS due to poor mobile network coverage). Languages spoken: French, English, German, Italian, Spanish.
