From the Menthières pass car park (above the resort), count 1 hour 15 minutes when there is no snow. A little longer when there is. Be careful: in the second half of the route, there are two possible paths, one of which goes across the resort's ski slopes. Avoid when the resort is open.
The chalet is located in the immediate vicinity of the Haute Chaîne du Jura National Nature Reserve: more info here. Chalet renovated in 2021. 6 berths, blankets, table, benches, wood stove. 1 rainwater collection tank, emptied in winter. 1 axe, 2 saws, 2 brooms and 1 snow shovel. Two USB ports for charging mobiles.
