Bivouac at the summit of Massour/Tuc de Nubiera 3219m. From Fouillouse, take the GR5 towards Col du Vallonnet, at Fort de Plate Lombarde, take the left path towards Vallon des Aoupets, do not climb Vallon des Aoupets when you reach it but continue straight east towards the very steep couloir that will allow you to enter the Combe du Massour. Climb high enough to pass and cross above a large rocky barrier on the right, then you can reach the summit ridge and the long-awaited bivouac via a very steep scree slope. Caution: on some IGN TOP25 3538ET maps (old version), Massour is the summit marked 3024m dominating Col de Stroppia; the summit of interest is the one marked 3219m to the north of it (do not mistake the couloir). Do not forget to bring water!!!
Strictly no equipment. Caution, the door lets in air, bring good equipment for sleeping. You cannot stand upright inside the bivouac (in the middle) if you are over 1.50m tall!!! 3, or even 4 places to sleep on the mattresses provided. This bivouac can be seen in the evening from Fouillouse when the sun hits its white paint horizontally, it shines like new!!!
