On the GR 6 of the "Grande Traversée des Préalpes". Also accessible from the forest track that branches off to the right of the road leading up to Montagne de Lure at the 1077 m point when arriving from the Richaud side.
Large building with an upstairs sleeping area accessible by ladder. A large room downstairs. Fireplace (whose efficiency seems limited to reading comments), table, benches. Average cleanliness. Little lighting due to the tiny window, so the interior is quite dark and a bit dreary. No water seen nearby. The exterior is cheerier than the interior: a pretty clearing offering many bivouac spots. Unfortunately accessible by track... and by vehicle...
