By municipal order of 26 10 2004, the GARDE de ND de Lure refuge, strictly speaking, is reserved for hikers on a raid. Motorized persons are not admitted. Its location -backed against a consecrated church, classified as a historic monument- requires respectful and proper behavior from its users: alcohol is prohibited. In June 2024, there is no one to monitor it and the door has been forced open. The interior is a complete mess, and the sleeping places upstairs are full of mouse droppings.
