At a glance

Access

Start from the wooden bridge, on the edge of the Issole river, below the village of La Valette. The trail follows the river, crosses it and goes up the Issole valley. 2 h. (Marked trail).

Good to know

WATER: A few metres from the refuge, a trail leads down into the Issole valley in 10 min. A spring is also located about 10 min along the trail towards the Col de Chalufy (low flow). Table, benches. Bunks on two levels, a few mattresses. Saw, axe, water containers, wood. The stove was recently replaced (in 2015) and works very well!
