From Massat, take the D18 towards Port de Lers. One kilometre before reaching the étangs de Lers, park the car and take a 4×4 track (for shepherds) that climbs 300 m of elevation. It can also be reached via a winding path (not always easy to follow) from Port de Lers.
Recent stone-built hut in good condition. Open all year round. Two small rooms, a fireplace (untested), an iron bed frame without a mattress, but you can sleep on the floor with five people using a good ground mat. Firewood must be brought up from the valley; there is no reserve. A large, well-supplied water trough is located 50 m to the north (in the meadow after the shoulder).
