From the hamlet of Aubrac, head south on the GR6A (a variant of the Saint Guilhem path). The trail descends, crosses a small bridge and continues gently downhill, leaving the ruins of a mill on the right. The trail crosses a stream on a bridge and climbs due south (turn left after crossing the bridge). The well-marked trail leads to the croix de la Vaysse, continue uphill to find the cabin on the left at a junction.
