IGN map 1:25000 3425 OT, Pontarlier. From Jougne, accessible via D 423 towards Entre-les-Fourgs, from which a forest road branches off (point marked 941 m) heading NE along the Jougnena valley. A barrier and a logging yard mark the end of the drive and the hut is on the upper edge. Also accessible from Switzerland via Col de l'Aiguillon, simply by following the ridge towards the SW.
Small forest shelter in good condition, with a stove, table, and chairs. No sleeping facilities. An entrance vestibule serving as a wood storage area protects the entrance from bad weather. Water in the nearby stream (to be treated: herds...!!!), abundant wood supply.
