IGN map 1:25000 3425 OT, Pontarlier. On the edge of the forest road ascending from Auberson to the Col de l'Aiguillon, about 2 km ENE of the Cabane de la Joux. The name comes from the Joux (forest) de la Limasse, itself named due to its proximity to the farm that gave it its name.
We are in Switzerland...so nothing is left to chance or abandoned. Excellent forest shelter built in log construction, with a stove, table, benches. Benches outside as well. No sleeping facilities: IT IS NORMALLY FORBIDDEN TO SPEND THE NIGHT THERE, EXCEPT in case of necessity (especially in winter) due to exhaustion, cold, or nightfall. A municipal poster specifies the conditions of use for this hut. Exemplary construction: take good care of it!
